Noblesville, Indiana Dentists Mike & Sara Deldar (also serving Carmel and Fishers): Come in to see the amazing results with your own eyes!

Porcelain veneers
are a great way to get dramatic smile enhancements without committing to major restorations or orthodontic treatment. Veneers can help teeth that are stained, chipped, cracked, or misaligned retain a normal appearance and a healthy function. These thin shells of porcelain are bonded to the front sides of your teeth for a flawless, natural look.

Give Lumineers® a Try

At Deldar & Deldar, we offer Lumineers by Cerinate, an innovative type of porcelain veneers, to help our Indianapolis patients overcome minor smile problems. With Lumineers, the porcelain that affixes to teeth is ultra-thin, allowing your dentist to avoid any enamel removal before placement. They are made from a special, patented porcelain, available only through Cerinate, and are expected to last around 20 years.

If you have crown or bridgework, do not worry. Lumineers brand porcelain veneers can fit right over these teeth. Our Indiana cosmetic dentistry patients love Lumineers because they are easy, affordable, and virtually painless. Another benefit of Lumineers is that they provide permanent whitening for discolored enamel.

How Porcelain Veneers are Made

  • You will come in for your initial appointment and evaluation. Dr. Deldar will discuss the tooth shade that will best fit in with your smile. Together, you will also talk about your options regarding the shape of the porcelain veneers.
  • Once we understand your requirements, we will send your specifications to one of our highly respected labs. The labs we use to create your porcelain veneers are LVE, Microdental, OREM, and Williams. Here, your new veneers will be custom crafted to perfection, ensuring top quality results.
  • After your porcelain veneers are created by the lab, you will come back to our office for your placement appointment. Dr. Deldar will prepare each tooth by carefully removing a miniscule amount of enamel to make room for the porcelain. With Lumineers, teeth are slightly etched in preparation for the new veneers, but no sensitive tooth structure is removed.
  • In just two to three visits to our Indiana cosmetic dentistry office, you can enjoy a rejuvenated smile that looks amazing and feels very natural.

If you are interested in improving your smile, but you are not sure where to start, let Deldar & Deldar help. FAQ

What are porcelain veneers?

Porcelain veneers are custom porcelain laminates made for your front teeth. They are created to change the shape, color, position, and/or size of your front teeth. Porcelain veneers are stain resistant, and they are a great option for people who want to correct their teeth to achieve that great smile they've always dreamed of.

What problems can porcelain veneers correct?

Porcelain veneers can be used to correct many problems in your front teeth including:

  • Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Stained and discolored teeth
  • Worn teeth
  • Misaligned or crooked teeth

Are porcelain veneers permanent?

Porcelain veneers are not permanent. They last for an average of five to ten years. Excessive pressure such as grinding your teeth can reduce the life of the porcelain veneers.

How are porcelain veneers created?

Indianapolis cosmetic dentist Dr. Mike Deldar will start by taking an impression of your teeth. Once the impression is completed, the mold is sent to a lab where your porcelain veneers are created. To make your porcelain veneers look great and fit perfectly in your mouth, Dr. Deldar will remove a tiny amount of enamel from your teeth. Sometimes your gums also need to be reshaped in order to make the porcelain veneers match up perfectly with your gums. While you are waiting for your porcelain veneers to be created in the lab, Dr. Deldar will give you a set of temporary veneers. Remember that these are temporary and won't match up as perfectly as your permanent veneers that come from the lab.

When your porcelain veneers arrive, Dr. Deldar will bond them to your teeth. Once this procedure is completed, you can go home and enjoy your perfect new smile. Your teeth may feel sensitive for a few days after receiving the porcelain veneers; however, after that short time period, the porcelain veneers will just feel as though they are a part of your normal teeth.

How much do porcelain veneers cost?

The cost of porcelain veneers varies depending on how many teeth are involved in the procedure.
